Short Description about BRISIN

The Basic Registry and Information System in Nigeria (BRISIN) is the first national integrated data and information infrastructure, intended to provide a solid foundation for planning and socio-economic growth in Nigeria. It is an innovative and all-encompassing approach to developing the nation. The system provides, in a holistic way, the answer to fight corruption and insecurity; it is the surest part to promote good governance and nurture true democratic process. In short, BRISIN is the cure Nigeria needs for all its ailments. www.brisin.gov.ng

Dr. Anthony Uwa, Head of BRISIN implementation in Nigeria,  told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Abuja that more Nigerians would be recruited after the pilot phase.

According to Federal Government – FG, 5000 successful applicants will be shortlisted or recruited for BRISIN while 200 out of the 5000 will be sent to Italy for training on various aspect of the project and they will be the trainees’ trainers.

What will those sent to Italy for BRISIN be trained on?

They will be trained mainly on the use of data on every aspect of economic management with attention to health, education, economic monitoring, fiscal and revenue control, migration and human trafficking.

Basic Requirements / Qualification for Basic Registry and Information System in Nigeria (BRISIN) Recruitment 2018/2019

• Applicant must be a Nigerian
• Applicant’s ability to co-ordinate team members into achieving unit and organizational objectives is required.
• Have a valid ID ( eg. National ID, Driver License, INEC Voters Card, International Passport)
• Interested applicant must possess Public/external bodies liaising skills
