The Rivers State Governor in the person of Barr. Nyesom Wike publicized the recruitment of 7,000 persons into the Rivers State Civil Service Commission to the media while speaking on his decision to re-contest in 2019 as Governor of Rivers State.

According to Governor Wike, “My decision to go for second tenor by 2019 was as a result of full support gotten from youths, women, elders, ethnic nationalities and even non indigenes in the 23 local government areas in the state.

Thereby he was pushed in spirit to declare a 7,000 recruitment opportunity in 20 positions in Rivers State Civil Service Commission.
