Job Title: Account Manager
Location: Lagos
Function: Finance
Sub-Function: Accounting, Reporting and Compliance Team
Overview of Position
- This role involves managing accounts, maintaining relationship with clients, keeping records of client interactions and sales activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve set goals.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day transactions such as preparation of MIS report, statutory compliances, Financial Accounts closure and any other need-based requirement by the management.
- Manage import processes related to banking activities.
- Collaborate with the Imports team for timely availability and cost effectiveness of the import goods.
- Manage stock taking exercise.
- Make a daily/weekly/monthly MIS report for sales, finance.
- Maintain the record of all the essential documents of the organization.
- Manage journal entries, balance sheet, statutory compliance, audit and tax compliance.
- Maintain and keep updated the company bank account and related entries and task.
- Do the coordination with sales team regarding all debtors.
- Collaborate with other team members for sales, finance and stock – Single point of direct contact with banker, vendor, customer etc. for Accounts and Finance function.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field with 4 to 6 years’ experience as an Accounts / Finance Executive.
- Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
- Effective Time management.
- Team Management and capability to define the process gap and set the required process improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
