Premier League gives Date for Return of Fans to Stadiums
Premier League gives Date for Return of Fans to Stadiums – The officials of Premier League (EPL) have given updates on the date their fans or viewers will return to their stadiums and watch their matches. The Spectators help in making the sports more entertaining as the gingering, shouting and encouragement adds value to football.
It was quite unfortunate that the pandemic, COVID-19 led to the restriction of fans from watching matches at the stadium. Though, it is a measure set aside to prevent the spread of the dangerous world killing virus – coronavirus disease.
The glory of sports will return again if fans come back.
Proposed Date for Premier League fans return
The officials of Premier League proposes October 1, 2020 as date for viewers to return to sports centres or stadiums but the fear of the virus may lead to delay of the approval.
According to Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday, who announced restrictions in the House of Commons, including those related to mass gatherings.
He said: “We have to acknowledge that the spread of the virus is now affecting our ability to reopen business conferences, exhibitions and large sporting events.
“So we will not be able to do this from October 1 and I recognize the implications for our sports clubs which are the life and soul of our communities, and my right honourable friends the Chancellor and the Culture Secretary are working urgently on what we can do now to support them.”
Reactions of Premier League Officials
The officials of Premier League still believe that it is possible for supporters to make a “safe return” to stadiums across the country.
As it stands, if both parties come to a compromise and resolve the issue at hand to consider if it’s manageable then the proposed date would work or little extension would be done.
