Key Roles

• The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University, responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration of the University except for financial matters, which fall within the purview of the Bursar.
• By virtue of the position, the Registrar is the Secretary to the Governing Council, Senate. Congregation, Convocation and the Committees of these statutory bodies.
• The applicant must be a person of impeccable character and must possess drive Initiative and foresight.
• He/She must be of pleasant disposition with sound leadership qualities and must be of good physical and mental health.

Minimum Qualifications

• A good B.Sc. Degree or HND in Accountancy or related field plus membership of a recognized Professional Accountancy Body with 9 years’ post qualification experience.
• Possession of a Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
• Must be computer literate.
• A good Honours Degree from a recognized University plus at least 6 years post qualification cognate experience.
• Possession of a Master’s Degree plus 4 years of experience.
• Must be computer literate.

Salary and Benefits
The salary and other benefits attached to this position are as approved by the Governing Council of the University.
