We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Quality Control Officer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Roles/Responsibilities
- Develop and determine all standards to perform inspections and tests on all procedures, oversee all testing methods, and maintain high-quality standards for all processes.
- Review the quality of all materials, ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality, and collaborate with necessary departments for materials procurement and quality materials.
- Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules, ensure adherence to all procedures, and coordinates with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.
- Monitor an efficient system, record all projects activities, and analyze all processes to ensure all work meet quality requirements
- Oversee project quality to ensure compliance with codes, standards, regulations, equipment-specific specifications, and quality management systems (QMS) requirements
- Implement risk-based inspection (RBI) activities and processes using API 580 and other similar programs to develop internal standard practices
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and radiographs
- Determining the causes of products defects and proferring advanced solutions
- Manage all work methods, maintain knowledge of quality assurance standards, monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes, and recommend corrective actions for all operations.
- Create a checklist and test plan based on the projects specification
- Coordinates all QC activities with the operations manager
