Today Latest News on NDE 774,000 Special Public Works (SPW) Recruitment as Senate leadership meets presidency – From the records of the meeting held by Nigerian Senates over the recruitment exercise of 774,000 Special Public Works by NDE (National Directorate of Employment), the senators agrees to meet President Muhammadu Buhari. The essence of the meeting is to affirm the modalities of the SPW recruitment exercise as the Festus Keyamo, the National Assembly Joint Committee on Labour and Minister of State for Labour displays.

Festus Keyamo, Minister of State for Labour is the one in charge of the recruitment exercise but some members of the house are not happy with his actions and reactions towards them during one of their meeting days on this 774,000 SPW recruitment exercise over the setting up of 20 men committees.

The latest resolution was where the Federal Government on Tuesday announced committees nationwide to commence implementation of the programme.

Some of the leaders in the house seeks for the suspension of the recruitment exercise of SPW as they want explanation on the modalities for engaging 774,000 persons for public works.

However, before the commencement of plenary on Tuesday, President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, had announced the closed session.

The latest news today is that Senate leadership sets out to meet presidency. The result of their conversation would be made known to you.

It has been made known to us that the SPW (Special Public Works) shortlisted candidates would resume duty by October, 2020. Before August, everything must have been resolved and the list of successful candidates must have been submitted to the authority.

Remember that the salary for every beneficiary each month is N20,000.

The work of the committee is to enlist 1000 persons from their state which they will present to the Federal Government for recruitment exercise proper.
