The organizers of the reality tv show Big Brother Naija (BBnaija) has announced that the 2023 season 8 show will commence shortly, possibly this month of July 2023.

DSTV cable tv network where the show is usually shown and the official @BBNaija took to their Twitter handle asking if the fans of the show are ready for what is coming.

The prospective contestants for the season 8 BBnaija show did Audition in the month of May 2023 and the reunion for the season 8 level up 2022 housemates took place last month June 2023.

Big Brother Naija, formerly known as Big Brother Nigeria, is a Nigerian reality competition television series, based on the Big Brother television franchise, in which 12 to 21 contestants live in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize worth $171,428.57 equivalent to 60,000,000 Nigerian Naira, and other material gifts, at the end of the show by avoiding being evicted from the house by viewers. Though the winning prize has been increased from the figure stated above, the first season of the show first aired on DStv Channel 37 from March 5 to June 4, 2006. The winner picks all.
