It was granted an operational license by the Federal Government on 9th June, 2005, and started operating in July, 2006. The University has graduated ten sets of students.

Location: Ota, Ogun
Candidates must possess the following
- HND in Chemistry or any related discipline
- Relevant professional registration with 16 years cognate experience or 4 years
- Experience as Assistant Chief Technologist
- Leadership skills (conference, seminar & trainings attended)
- Evidence of research publications: (at least 2nos)
- Possession of a higher degree will be an added advantage
- Candidate should be able to identify the number of mentees
- Candidate should have:
- Evidence of technical repofts or
- Patent (at least I no.)/ portfolio; and
- Maintenance Culture
- Candidate must be computer literate.
