Summary of the Second Episode or chapter eight (8) of The Life Changer

In chapter 7,Dr kabir presents himself as the chairman of Examination Ethics committee ( EMEC) and robbed salma. In this chapter, the true identify of Dr kabir was revealed.

His full name is mohammed kabir, a laboratory technologist employed in the university where salma studies. The tag”Doctor” is kabir nickname. He is nicknamed “Doctor” right from his secondary school days and he still retains it even as a laboratory technologist in the university. He is also a gambler. So, he uses the money he fraudulenty got from salma for gambling.

Labaran, salma’s boyfriend, discovers that salma has been tricked by Dr kabir and calls on Habib to contact Zaki to handle the matter. Habib becomes skeptical about contacting Zaki due to his failure in his first mission to abduct Alhaji Adamu’s son. Honourable Habib finally contacts Zaki to trail kabir as suggested by labaran.

Dr kabir is seen at gambling spot. He has used the money he fraudulently got for betting. He wins the game and leaves quickly. So he doesn’t lose the money by betting again.

Some robbers attack kabir to get the money from him. The major mission of these thugs is to retrieve kabir’s wins. Zaki meets the man as they carry on the operation. He immediately chases the man away and takes over the situation. Zaki finally gets the money from kabir and leaves him bruised.
