Edo State SUBEB Federal Teachers’ Internship Scheme (TIS) Recruitment Portal 2023/2024

The  Federal  Teachers’  Internship  Scheme  (TIS)  was  introduced  by  the  Universal  Basic Education Commission (UBEC) to address the gap in teachers’ skills related to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and digital pedagogy. This scheme aims to provide a  2-year  incubation  experience  for  university  graduates,  focusing  on  ICT,  innovation  in teaching, and learning.

Edo SUBEB is calling on individuals who meet the criteria below or candidates who had participated in the FTS 2022 program to apply.

Eligibility Criteria

Only candidates who fulfil the conditions as listed below should apply for the programme:

1. Specialization in any of the following subjects:
   1. English Language
   2. Mathematics
   3. Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Integrated Science
   4. Agricultural Science
   5. Computer Science or Information Technology
   6. Educational Technology
2. Bachelor’s degree in education or Bachelor’s degree with Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), of not lower than Second Class (Lower Division) and not earned earlier than five years before the commencement of the enlistment

• Candidate must have completed NYSC or be exempted from

1. Must possess TRCN Registration Number (not mandatory)
2. Not more than 35 years of age as at the time of enlistment
3. Not employed or enrolled under NYSC, N-Power or any similar programme at the time of enlistment

• Must have ICT knowledge (basic)
