FG Reps to Increase NYSC Allawee / Allowance Payment (Accommodation and Transportation) – The Federal Government of Nigeria through the decision made by the House of Representatives of the Federal Government of Nigeria have decided to increase the monthly allowance (Accommodation and Transportation) or allawee of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). All NYSC Corps Members would start experiencing positive changes in their allawee in no distant time.

The current situation of the country as a result of hike in prices of things in Nigeria has made the House of Representatives to pass to bill the increase of NYSC Allowance as well as Accommodation and Transportation for the benefit of all Corps members.

Congratulations to all Corps Members as soon it will become effected.

Recall, this was the same process, NYSC Monthly allowance or allawee was increased from N20,000 to N33,000. Today, new resolutions are on board and we hope it would get to N50,000 or more (maybe N55,000).

This update was brought to us as Reps talked about increasing NYSC Allowance (Accommodation and Transportation). We got the update after the deliberation by the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria disclosed today, the 21st of September 2022 in an order paper 21.09.2022 clearly stated that they are looking into increasing NYSC allowance and also provide accommodation and transport allowance in line with current reality.
