Job Title: Team Lead, Corporate & Contracts

  • Provides, under the leadership of the Unit Head, pragmatic legal advice and solutions to the Bank and its subsidiaries on a broad range of legal issues.
  • Drafts, negotiates and arranges the execution of loan and security documentation relating to Bank facilities.

  • Drafts and vets Contracts and Service Level Agreements involving the Bank and various counterparties.
  • Reviews credit approvals (Form 3800B)/ offer letters and advises on the most optimal transaction structure that best protects the Bank’s interest whilst meeting its commercial objectives.
  • Liaises directly with External solicitors to ensure that bank’s transactions specifically being handled by the team are promptly pursued, acted upon and concluded in good time.
  • Supervises and serves as co-counsel with external solicitors retained by the Bank in specialized and cross-border transactions.
  • Builds and improves on the capacity of team members by mentoring and guiding them in specialized and big ticket transactions.
  • Supports the Unit Head in the actualization of numerous product and service offerings, alliances, partnerships and other synergistic relationships created by the Products & Channels Unit.

Job Objective(s)

  • Assist with implementation, monitoring, and refinement of IT processes, policies, procedures and methods to ensure robust IT practice that complies with industry and business requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the  evaluation and testing of software and infrastructure to ensure they function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines
  • Engage in all test phases –system, integration and functional testing & acceptance
  • Apply, design and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks.
  • Work with Team Lead to test and analyze each component/phase of the systems development life cycle
  • Analyze and verify best automated and manual test approaches and execute acceptance, integration, installation and system testing.
  • Work with project managers to plan, manage and track quality test plan
  • Ensure that all required testing deliverables are created including testing approach, testing scenarios, conditions and expected results, manual test scripts, automated test scripts and testing control sheets

  • Communicate the results of quality application performance testing to Project/Program Manager, IT Leadership and Change Manager

Job Requirements
