Check your NCEE Result 2020, Performances and when Admission List will be released, Supplementary Admission List Date and Criteria for Admission – Officially, the National Examination Council (NECO) has released the 2020 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) Results for admission into the Federal Government run Unity Schools across Nigeria. The registrar of the council, Abubakar Gana, presented the results to the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, on Tuesday in Abuja.

According to the registrar,77,832 candidates registered for the examination but only 73,347 sat for the examination. There were 18 visually-impaired students who also sat for the examination.
The minister, Mr. Adamu, said the admission exercise will commence on May 14, 2019.
According to Mr. Adamu, the first batch of admissions will come from the first week of June.
Yes, according to Mr. Adamu, there will be a supplementary admission to enable others whose name were not on the first batch to be considered for admission.
Mr. Adamu said openly that supplementary admissions will take place between July 13 and 20.
Mr Adamu said all the unity schools will be opened for resumption by the second week of September.
“For next year’s admission, we shall adjust the exam schedules to ensure that children get their admission letters before the end of April. In this year’s exercise, the following shall constitute the admission criteria:-national merit – 60 per cent, equality of States – 30 per cent and other factors – 10 per cent,” he said.
He said candidates who applied for schools outside of their states of origin will be given priority.
Currently, Nigeria has 110 unity schools.
The minister announced that three students got the highest scores, Umeonyiagu Chinua Crucifixio, Anambra scored 199, Onwuamanam Udochukwu, Enugu scored 198 while Salaam Mariam Aderemilekun, Lagos scored 197 respectively.
The criteria for the 2019/2020 admissions included merit 60%, equality of states 30% and other factors 10% but candidates who applied for schools outside of their states of origin would be given priority,” the minister said.

My ward had 131, with msg not qualified for selection. His score is less than the cut off mark of his first choice but equals to his second choice, which also is outside his state of origin. Can he be considered for second choice?
