  • The ones who have established their business and registered the business with CAC after the Npower program,
  • The ones who have established business but yet to register with CAC,
  • The ones who have not established any business but are willing to start a business.
  • The final category of Nexit Applicants is the ones who are not interested in anything other than permanency (Government work).

It was announced to the general public through the Honorable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Umar Farouq before the Nexit Programme was initiated, that 109,000 among the 500,000 beneficiaries have gone to become business owners and some are already employers of labour. These 109,000 are the typical example of Nexit Applicants that fall in category 1&2 and may likely get high loan amounts to grow their business.
