The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has been using this medium to put in the zealousness of the study of chemistry in all tertiary institution. The competition is organized to improve the standard of chemistry in Nigeria Universities. It is made up of three (3) rounds namely;
1st Position: One Million Naira (N1,000,000), Apple Laptop Computer, Visa to visit USA for two (2) weeks and Corolla S upon returned from USA.
2nd Position: Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N500,000), HP Computer and Car (206)
3rd Position: Three Hundred Thousands Naira (N300,000) and Mini Laptop
