We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Site Engineer

Location: Lagos

Key Roles

• Hold meetings regularly to ensure that everything is proceeding according to time and budget restrictions
• Act as a liaison between the company and vendors, subcontractors and members of the community to ensure smooth working relationship and work proceeds on the different construction sites unhindered
• Respond to complaints, concerns or requests throughout the project
• Ensure that all health, safety and legal requirements are being met throughout the process
• Supervise the work done on the construction vigilantly and judiciously to ensure that materials provided are used and accounted for
• Maintain accurate inventory of the purchase of materials and set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured.
• Prepare a weekly and monthly budget on expenditure on the construction site and manage all funds disbursed according to established accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure that all financial records for the project are updated
• Negotiate with all vendors, supplies, technical partners, government officials and members of the community for the best prices which balance price and quality/save costs
• Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within the budget and required level.

Minimum Qualification

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor’s Degree with 3 – 5 years relevant work experience.
