Number of Npower Beneficiaries that have gotten permanent jobs from Batch A and Batch B – Truly, a good number of Npower volunteers have gotten permanent jobs while some are yet to get. The management of N-Power programme through the communication manager of the social investment office, Justice Bibiye in a statement on Wednesday has reveal that about 18,674 other beneficiaries of the N-Power Scheme has gotten permanent job and has since resigned voluntarily from the programme.

However, the 2,525 beneficiaries that were sacked for absconding from their PPA in July published by Premium Time for absconding from duty and abuse of opportunities in the three selected States: Kano, Katsina and Adamawa are not among the 18,674 who voluntarily resigned from the programme.

Importance Advice and Information to all Active Npower Beneficiaries in Batch A and B

The Federal Government says it will not hesitate to suspend N-Power volunteers who abscond from their Primary place of Assignment (PPA). Mr Bibiye also said the reports indicated how some beneficiaries stayed away for long periods of time from their primary places of assignment. According to the official, the Agency had taken concrete steps to address the problem, which border mainly on absenteeism and truancy on the part of some N-Power beneficiaries who have consistently abused the privilege of being engage to serve their land.

Mr Bibi noted that volunteers assigned to schools by the various State governments in collaboration with the Federal government are now being monitored by the school heads.

Simple Admonishment to all Npower Beneficiaries and intending ones

Don’t play with this job as Federal Government and officials in charge are looking forth for a way to reduce to population of beneficiaries. The only people that would be affected are those that neglects their PPA in terms of absenteeism, lateness to work and other related factors.
