NYSC New Amount for Allawee: Corps Members Salary increases as President Buhari signs New Minimum wage of N30,000

This is what many has been longing for. Today is a reality as President Muhammadu Buhari, signs and approves New National Minimum Wage of N30,000. This implies to all employers in Nigeria including NYSC Corps Members. Nowadays, Corps members will have enough to save and make use of as the minimum has been increased. Now, the former salaray or Alawee of N19,800 will be increased. SEE THE AMOUNT AND WHEN IT WILL TAKE EFFECT OR START.

The new approved minimum wage of N30,000 indeed affects NYSC Corps Members, both those in service and prospective corps members as they are favoured to be paid N30,000 every month as their allawee or salary.

This new minimum wage might start from NYSC Batch B 2019, but we are still working on it to see if all already serving corps members will join in getting the monthly salary of the minimum wage.
