We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Manager

Location: Lagos
Function: Finance
Sub-Function: Accounting, Reporting and Compliance Team

Overview of Position

This role involves managing accounts, maintaining relationship with clients, keeping records of client interactions and sales activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve set goals.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day transactions such as preparation of MIS report, statutory compliances, Financial Accounts closure and any other need-based requirement by the management.
Manage import processes related to banking activities.
Collaborate with the Imports team for timely availability and cost effectiveness of the import goods.
Manage stock taking exercise.
Make a daily/weekly/monthly MIS report for sales, finance.
Maintain the record of all the essential documents of the organization.
Manage journal entries, balance sheet, statutory compliance, audit and tax compliance.
Maintain and keep updated the company bank account and related entries and task.
Do the coordination with sales team regarding all debtors.
Collaborate with other team members for sales, finance and stock – Single point of direct contact with banker, vendor, customer etc. for Accounts and Finance function.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field with 4 to 6 years’ experience as an Accounts / Finance Executive.
Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
Effective Time management.
Team Management and capability to define the process gap and set the required process improvement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication skills.
