Location: Nigeria
Reporting Line: Team Lead, Internet Banking/e-commerce Tech Support

Responsibilities

  • Providing first level support for Internet Banking /Digital Banking Platforms.
  • Monitoring of Internet Banking /Digital Banking Platforms. Immediate escalation of identified failures or possible failure triggers
  • Investigating and Resolution of of transaction issues on the Internet Banking /Digital Banking Platforms.
  • Carry out Resource utilization checks and House Keeping Services across the Internet Banking /Digital Banking Platforms.
  • Deployment of WebSphere Application upgrades and installation of patch fixes
  • Support of IBM Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).
  • Support and Management of Linux/Unix Operating System.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the Team Leads.

Job Title: Team Member, Enterprise Application Support

Location: Nigeria
Reporting Line: Team Lead, Enterprise Application Support

Responsibilities
Documentation of Enterprise architecture baseline:

  • Ensure proper documentation of Enterprise Application support process/procedures and Configuration items.
  • Ensure up-to-date procedures for both end-users and operators of these systems.

Process optimization:

  • Ensure timely understanding of any new software integration into company systems
  • Ensure preventative maintenance, including the installation of service packs, patches, hot fixes, anti-virus software is carried out as and when due.
  • Ensuring smooth running and availability of 99.99% Payment System Application 24 x 7 x 365

Project Delivery Effectiveness:

  • Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
  • Perform any project task as may be assigned by the Team Lead, Enterprise Application Support UBA Africa.

Accuracy of application Configuration to reduced errors resulting from inaccurate configuration of data:

  • Take necessary and prompt corrective actions to ensure the achievement of set objectives

Issue Closure within TAT:

  • Ensure that support Issue raised by the business are resolved within the agreed TAT.
  • Ensure mitigation against future occurences.

Adhoc:

  • Render periodic report for management descision making
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Unit Head, Other Banking App Support & Monitoring

Job Title: Team Member, Global Batch Operations

Location: Nigeria
Functionally reports to: Head CBA Support

Responsibilities

  • To Provide 24X7X365 access to Finacle application to the entire UBA
  • Ensuring smooth running and availability of Finacle 24 x 7 for UBA.
  • EOD/EOM/EOY run on Finacle, Finnone, Fundtech
  • Ensure Daily Generation and transmission of SWIFT statement on daily basis
  • Ensure daily generation and transmission of E-statement to subscribers
  • COT and Credit interest run on Finacle
  • Ensure that ALL Finacle and csis services are up and running on 24 x 7 basis.
  • General parameter review and set up/modification
  • Scheme parameter set up, review and modification
  •  Liaise with consultant on EOD/Processing issues
  • Business Office Sol creation and set-up.

Qualifications

  • BSc and other professional qualifications.

Job Title: Team Member, Voice and Wireless Service

Location: Nigeria
Reporting Line: Team Lead, Voice and Wireless Service

Responsibilities

  • Design and support VoIP infrastructure and its associated software, including IP-PBXs, call management systems, voice mail, and interactive voice response.
  • Where necessary, plan for management or phasing out of legacy telephony systems and other switch-based technologies.
  • Select, deploy, and utilize appropriate tools for reporting and routing of IP telephony/Video traffic on the network.
  • Collaborate with systems engineers/architects for upgrades to operating systems, hardware, etc.
  • Remain current on new transport protocols, products, and standards in support of VoIP/Video systems development and equipment procurement.
  • Integrate IP telephony/Video systems with enterprise LANs, WANs, wireless LANs, and other Internet-based services and protocols.
  • Provide leadership for implementing new VoIP/Video products or services, as well as the technical resources required to manage them.
  • Collaborate with help desk to resolve trouble tickets and mitigate end-user issues with VoIP hardware/Video and/or applications.

Job Title: Team Member, Network Core Management and Design

Location: Nigeria
Reporting Line: Team Lead, Network Core Management and Design

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the stable operation and efficient performance of company networks
  • Monitor system capacity to determine its effect on performance and recommend enhancements to meet new or changing network demands.
  • Identify and remedy network performance bottlenecks.
  • Configure and troubleshoot servers, including e-mail, print, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software.
  • Install and configure all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, and so on.
  • Support, setup and configure switching, wireless networks, routing, and security, multi-server environments.

Job Title: Team Member, Data Warehouse and Analytics

Location: Nigeria
Reporting Line: Head, Data Warehouse and Analytics

Responsibilities
Business Requirements:

  • Effective liaison with requesting units / business users in gathering requirements and conducting related analysis to achieve optimal results Build a trust relationship with the Business Unit staff (executive to junior official).
  • Implementation of strict compliance within the Data warehouse
  • Serve as business interface with support team on data / validation issues
  • Liaise with technology on any extraction bottlenecks, ensure that measures are in place to maintain a clean data warehouse with highly reduced unclean data.
  • Detailed Business Requirement for Business Reporting, which results in frequent change requests to meet business demands.
  • Develop work flows and custom reports on the Finacle platform in line with detailed specifications from the requesting business units.

Execution and Support:

  • Propose and effect the execution of improvement initiatives to the bank BI/Data warehouse environment.
  • Work with Data warehouse team in supporting/maintaining performance management driven dashboards E.g Performance Scorecard, ATM Profitability, Deposit Volume, E-product Enrolment, etc.
  • Liaise with users on regular basis with a view to providing a proactive approach to problem resolution.

Processes Improvements:

  • Contribute to the improvement of the BI/MIS platforms or processes via innovative ideas, strategies and related initiatives.
  • Alignment and Perform other duties as may be assigned by Head IT Enterprise Applications
  • Data quality assurance measures across the industry.

Job Title: Team Member, Data Management & Administration

Location: Nigeria
Reporting Line: Unit Head Data Management & Administration

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all database servers are backed up in a way that meets the business’s Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
  • Test backups to ensure we can meet the business’ Recovery Time Objectives (RTO)
  • Troubleshoot Oracle / SQL Server service outages as they occur, including after-hours and weekends.
  • Configure SQL Server monitoring utilities to minimize false alarms
  • Install and configure new Oracle / SQL Servers
  • When performance issues arise, determine the most effective way to increase performance including hardware purchases, server configuration changes, or index/query changes
  • Document the company’s database environment
  • Responsible for building a high degree structured discipline approach around change control, change management, problem management and technology infrastructure that can support the growing portfolio of products and services, Upgrades documentation periodically for proper operating procedures for all systems.
  • To manage business continuity and disaster recovery operations and ensure there is 99.99% service Availability and zero data loss in the event of disaster events.

Qualifications

  • Minimum educational level: First degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Systems Engineering or Operational sciences with strong Information Systems component.
  • A second degree in any of these disciplines, an MBA and/or technical certifications will enhance performance though not essential.

Experience:

  • Minimum requisite experience: 2 years relevant experience with at least 1 years as a database administrator within a technology intensive environment (Financial Services, Telecommunications, etc).

Job Title: Team Member, Channel Switching Services

Location: Nigeria
Reporting Line: Team Lead, channel Switching Services Africa

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of Channel services (Postilion/FEP, ATMs, WEB and POS, KIMONO, CRM, GCRM, CIPG, TAMs) and immediately escalation of identified failures or possible failure triggers.
  • Able to follow though and implement identified short and long term strategic plans geared toward ensuring that the infrastructure capacity meets existing and future business requirements
  • Maintain zero level of issues by promptly addressing challenges either identified or reported by stakeholders
  • Comply with agreed service level agreements with business units and external service providers
  • Participate in quarterly meeting with application vendor to review performance and identified areas of improvement
  • Provide support in line with documented operational policies, and procedures
  • Daily backup of all platforms must be ensured and also show proof of data movement to agreed repository
  • Participate in user acceptance test/ provide support on assigned projects
  • Resolution of user issues within agreed SLA.
  • Ensure correct logging of all identified failures/deployment/enhancement of issues failure grid
  • Proactively identify, escalate and follow through on resolving the cause of systems challenges
  • Methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of the cause of failures and attendant resolution for future reference.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all IT operations process/procedures and configuration items
  • Stay current on new industry based technical trends and infrastructure optimization opportunities
  • Build and foster an effective Channel services team to enable service excellence
  • Ensure Antivirus has updated patch running on the FEP/Postilion and it’s sub-systems
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the unit/team Lead Channel Switching Services
  • Periodic Failover test to DR site to ensure BCP
  • Adhere to the PCIDSS recommendations in-order to protect the Card date environment.
  • Apply Windows patches and fixes on the OS of the Channel servers to protect the systems against Viruses, Trojans and Malware
  • Integration of new project to Postilion as requested by business
  • Ensuring that fees and charges on the Channel systems conform with CBN’s directive
  • Testing/Simulation of Fixes before deployment to production.

Adhoc Functions:

  • Generate ATM, POS, WEB transaction reports
  • Perform all periodic maintenance activities on storage infrastructure platform, including system software configuration, user account maintenance, file systems and volume groups management, patches updates etc.
  • Generate Card related reports
  • Carryout analysis on failure response code with a view of fixing causes of failures to improve transaction success rate
  • Incident report, for major incident affecting card transactions
  • Assigning of IT help desk logs
  • Resolving of Alert related issues on the IT help desk.

KPIs:

  • Customer Debit Card Service rating: Top 3 – Corporate; Top 5 – Retail
  • Debit Card Penetration: Top 1
  • ATM/ FEP transaction count: Top 1of 24
  • System effectiveness (FEP/CRM/TAMs/BDLite/Kimono): System availability and success rate >99.9999%.
  • Ensure all initiatives are executed within SLA (Inclusive of Process Improvement initiatives)
  • Deployment of planned product roll-out across the Group: Top 1 of 24.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline, preferably in Computer / Electronic Engineering / Science
  • Professional certifications in any Information Technology Course will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience with at least one (1) year spent in any Banking function.

Job Title: Team Member, Backup / Storage Team

Location: Nigeria
Reporting Line: Team Lead, Backup and Storage Administration

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all Storage Servers in both Data Centre’s are up and running, data protection of all enterprise business and systems data taken, storage system is made available at all times and readiness for disaster recovery and business continuity.

Enterprise Storage Management:

  • Administering of the critical Enterprise Storage Systems and Storage Area Networks (SAN) and the Converged Storage Infrastructure – (VMAX, VPLEX, EMC-UNITY).
  • Perform all periodic maintenance activities on storage infrastructure platform, including system software configuration, user account maintenance, file systems and volume groups management, patches updates etc.
  • Storage and Backup Infrastructure Equipment monitoring and Reporting
  • Periodically tune and optimize storage infrastructure and related components to achieve high availability and performance of the various business applications supported
  • Documentation of technical details for solution deployment and documentation of procedures and processes.
  • Perform detailed storage equipment infrastructure monitoring and reporting.

Enterprise Data Protection and Disaster Avoidance/Recovery Management:

  • Administration of backup of the enterprise business and user’s data, applications and production servers
  • Design, install and configure the backup servers and all backup infrastructure to the specific need and requirement of the applications.
  • Managing data recovery in case of data corruption, deletion, etc.
  • Proactively manage enterprise data and test for data integrity through periodic business continuity process (BCP) test.
  • Ensuring the bank is well protected against business data loss in case of disaster through applications and data high availability and by conducting disaster recovery site’s periodic applications and systems failover.
  • Managing the group and regulatory policies on enterprise data protection, retention and recovery
  • Documentation of data protection procedures and processes.

Job Title: Team Member, Wintel Virtualization

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities
Administration of Virtual Infrastructure:

  • Manage the implementation, configuration, deployment and ongoing support of the VMware vSphere server infrastructure hosting enterprise applications
  • Setup, Install and configure ESX servers
  • Setup and configure HA, VMotion, DRS
  • Install Linux VM / Windows Guests and P2V migrations

Job Title: Team Member – UNIX Server Administration

Location: Nigeria
Reporting Line: Team Lead – UNIX   Server Administration

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate activities to ensure that all Unix IBM Servers in Data Centre are up and running, backups taken and system is made available at all times.

UNIX Administration functions:

  • Identify the relevant role players in accordance with business requirements and dependencies.
  • Build a trust relationship with the Business Unit staff (executive to junior official)
  • Obtain mutual agreement on the resolution of issues, meetings required and the delivery of inter-dependent outputs and results.
  • Compile a database indicating the role players, expected outputs, contact details, type of agreements, skills inventory, succession planning.
  • Manage relationships in accordance with policies, procedures and legal requirements within the allocated time frames
  • Attend Human Resources strategic meetings to provide feedback from the business to be taken into consideration when strategies are developed.

Manage and Administer UNIX servers:

  • Unix (AIX) System Administration of IBM Servers and Enterprise Storage Server.
  • Design, install and configure the UNIX servers to the specific need and requirements of the applications.
  • Periodically tune and optimize UNIX systems servers and related components to achieve high availability and performance of the various business applications supported.
  • Disk space and File System Management on IBM Servers.
  • Perform all periodic maintenance activities on IBM AIX servers, including system software configuration, user account maintenance, file systems and volume groups management, patches updates etc.

Manage and Administer Storages:

  • Administering of Enterprise Storage Systems (DS)
  • Administering Storage Area Networks (SAN) for IBM p-Series.
  • Create LUNs from Storage
  • Re-distribute storage utilisations on servers.

Work with OEM Engineer onsite:

  • Work with Assigned customer engineer from OEM on Software and hardware calls
  • Monitor the correct implementation and usage of the system to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Ensure that firmware on the both Operating System and Hardware are carry out to advert services breakdown
  • Proactively alert the OEM for replacement whenever there are failed component on the infrastructure.

KPIs:

  • Enterprise security of all IBM AIX platforms
  • Availability of system resources on all managed IBM AIX servers.
  • Maximum uptime for all IBM servers.
  • A detailed documentation of IBM AIX administrator procedures.
  • Timely completion of all assigned IBM AIX platform deliverables and projects.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. Computer Science / Engineering
  • AIX Advanced Certified Certifications, good Managerial and Project Management Skill.

Experience:

  • 5+ years.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and escalate Mobile Banking and related applications challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain IT PMO maturity level.
