Update on JAMB UTME 2019/2020 Sales of Form is January – New slashed Amount and Requirements

The Head, Media and Information of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Dr Fabian Benjamin, made this known to pressmen in an interview held at Lagos that;

The Board wishes to inform the general public that the sale of its 2019 application documents would commence in January, 2019. Kindly disregard any news stating otherwise.

NEW SLASHED PRICE OR AMOUNT FOR JAMB FORM 2019/2020

JAMB has agreed to the reduction of the registration cost of JAMB Form from N5,000 to N3,500 as approved by President Muhammadu Buhari last Wednesday.

Therefore, the new slashed price or amount for JAMB UTME Form 2019/2020 is N3,500 (Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira Only)

Also, the cost of registration for the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination charged by the National Examination Council was also reduced from N11,350 to N9,850.

Basic Education Certificate Examination, also charged by NECO, was also reduced from N5,500 to N4,000.

Note: All these reductions in price or amount takes effect or becomes effective by January, 2019.

Take note of this to avoid being cheated by fraudsters.

How to gain admission by 2019 in any institution
